What is CU?
Monash Christian Union is a group of students who are seeking to make, mature, mobilise, and send disciples of Jesus Christ on campus, for the glory of God. It is our hope that everyone on campus will know a Christian, and have the opportunity to hear the good news of the Gospel for themselves. Monash Christian Union runs large meetings such as Tuesday Night Training or FOCUS Friday Nights which are all-in, rallying events, and also small meetings such as prayer or Bible studies. These are gatherings which encourage, mature, and train you to become more like Jesus.
These gatherings are also designed to equip you to go into faculty groups to reach your faculty with the Gospel. Faculty groups run triplet small groups each week and other faculty events designed to create community or provide evangelistic opportunities to Monash students. Triplets involve spending a small amount of time each week reading the Bible with two others, praying for each other and encouraging one another. We would love you to be involved!
FOCUS (Fellowship of Overseas Christian Union Students) runs on Friday night and is for international students. Here you will find students from other countries bonding together as they make sense of Australia, the English language, and Jesus.
We are also an official Monash Clubs and Societies registered club, meaning that we are run under the governance of the Monash Student Association (MSA).
Whilst we are a student-run club, we also partner with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) and enjoy the blessing of their staff workers and the teaching, training and encouragement they offer.

Monash Caulfield Christian Union and Monash Clayton Christian Union have one combined goal and combine together for camps throughout the year but the specifics of what occurs does vary according to location.
